Prospurly Review - March/April 2015

Hello Spring!  The Easter bunny came a day early this year.  My first prospurly subscription arrived via 2-day Priority shipping (shipping was included with the price of the subscription -- awesome!). It came wrapped up in this cute orange box - with white decorative graphics and a little blurb about prospurly.

What's included in this month's box?

"Awake with Spring" letter:

"IT's the first month of Spring, and with it, comes the first month of Prospurly. The season is the time of change,  growth, and rebirth, and we're following Mother Earth's lead. Inside you'll find delightful treats to share with friends & family, vitality-boosting bath & body care, and delicious, calming goodies guaranteed to inspire that 'Ahhh' moment.

From each of us here at Prospurly, we'd like to thank you for being part of this special first box - we've already begun making our next box even bigger & better.

With love,
The Prospurly Team"

Talk about an awesome letter that leaves you looking forward to next month's box.  The "Awake with Spring" card is reversible and lists the content and value of this box's goodies!

  1. Alma Chocolate Salty Nut Toffee Bar ($5)
  2. Crown Maple Petite Trio ($15.95)
    • This little trio comes with three options: Golden color (delicate taste), Amber color (rich taste), and Dark color (robust taste). Origin: New York
    • My boyfriend and I went just tried some with our favorite trader joe's belgian waffles and they taste amazing. The Golden maple syrup is very light tasting, while the Amber syrup is very sweet and reminds me of your traditional maple syrup.  The Dark color is more earthy in taste, with a hint of something nutty. I really enjoyed mixing the golden and dark together with my waffles, while my boyfriend opted for the more traditional Amber syrup.
  3. The Tea Spot Jasmin Petals Tin ($5)
    • Will probably regift this. I only sometimes like teas, but know plenty of other tea lovers
  4. Portable Tuffy Steeper (8.95)
    • Will probably regift this as well. I only sometimes like teas, but know plenty of other tea lovers.  This item looks definitely high quality and perfect for at home or when you're traveling on the go!
  5. Urban Oreganics Cleansing Bar ($10)
  6. Urban Oreganics Detox Bath Salts ($18)
  7. Tops Malibu Wish Paper ($7.50)
  8. BONUS: Bee Lux PDX candle ($5)  - So cute!
  9. BONUS2?: I also found a 20% off coupon in my box for TeaSpot. May use this along with the other two
In total my box valued $75.40! I only paid $44.96 (with my 10% off). That is a great deal in my book.  I also have some a mother's day gift started for someone (Mom - don't read this blog post).

(Note: I will periodically update the contents above as as I use items)

Wondering how your purchase from Prospurly made a difference in th world? On the bottom of this card, it includes a section about "the change you were a part of this month".  This month, Prospurly was involved in planting 245 trees (with Trees for the Future) and 10% of your purchase went to Cancer Wellness & Community centers (with The Tea Spot). I really love knowing that the products that I bought not only were for myself, but also went towards good causes that I care about.
